“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

Student Worship: Sundays
Sunday evenings we open up the student worship room for an awesome time of sharing a meal, worship, teaching, and discussion. We work hard to make sure all students feel welcomed and comfortable so that the Holy Spirit can reach as many young people as possible. Friends and guests always welcomed.
Current Series: Half Truths
Most Christians have things we believe, and tell others, and even count on, that we’ve not carefully examined. Some of the things we accept and repeat to others sound so true, and we’ve believed them for so long, that they become what some call “sacred cows”— things above question or criticism. When these beliefs are questioned we become defensive or irritated. We may even worry that if the beliefs aren’t true, the rest of our faith may crumble. By examining half truths the hope is it will lead us to greater truths we find in Jesus Christ.
September 18 – “God helps those who helps themselves”
October 2 – “God won’t give you anymore than you can handle”
October 16 – “God said it, I believe it, that settles it”
November 6 – “Love the sinner, hate the sin”
October to April
Throughout Confirmation students (7-9th graders) come to understand what followers of Jesus believe. They learn to speak about their faith and most importantly, to confirm their desire to live out a life-long personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
September 13 to November 1
In the book of Hebrews, Saint Paul writes about the faith of people who have gone before us. This class will spend 8 weeks studying the “acts of faith” and life of the people from Hebrews 11. This will be an intergenerational class that will be question/discussion/participant driven.
