Women

The women of Peace Church are involved in many areas of ministry outreach. Opportunities are available for fellowship, study, and service. We invite you to join us at any of our activities.
 

Retreat

The next retreat will be January, 2009.

 

Fellowship / Service

G.A.L.S. Brunch (God's Affirming Ladies in Service)

The first Saturday of each month at 9:30 p.m. is the GALS brunch. Women of all ages are invited to come and enjoy food, fellowship, devotions, planning and fun with the Peace GALS. Contact Ellen Graber.

 

 

Lunch Bunch

Meets at noon the third Monday of each month at a local restaurant. Group has devotions, prayer, and of course food! All women are welcome! Transportation is available if needed. Contact Barb McKinley.

 

 

Lydia Circle

Meets at 1:00 p.m. the second Monday of each month. All women are welcome! Contact Mary Hall.

 

 

M.O.P.S.

We have an active Mothers of Preschoolers (M.O.P.S.) group here at Peace. The group meets the second

Saturday of the month here at Peace at 9:00 a.m. Childcare is available. They also have outings and other fun

Service Guild

Meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room. The Service Guild does many hands-on projects for nursing homes, shut-ins, the church, and more. Contact Glenda Dunman.

 

 

Study Groups

 

 

Prisms - Mondays, 7:00 p.m.

This women's group meets in the conference room for fellowship, prayer, and study. Leader: Barb Parrot. All are welcome.

 

 

Women of Influence - Mondays, 9:30 a.m.

This women's group meets at Peace in room 14 where they study, fellowship, pray, and reach out to others. This group studies a variety of topics relevant to today.  You’ll find Biblical wisdom for some of today’s challenging issues including infertility, caring for aging parents, singleness, materialism, and the role of women in ministry.  Ladies, we’re not alone … women in the Bible had all of these struggles, too!  Childcare is provided. Leader: Melissa Six. (September thru May)

 

 

Women's Group - Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m.

Join this group of women of all ages for the new study, “Frazzled Female” by Cindi Wood. Group meets in the church library. Childcare available. Leader: Dianne Gallaugher.
