GOT CLOTHES? As you clean out closets to get ready for school, bag
up those items that no longer fit and bring them to the church. We are
collecting all sizes of clothing, shoes & coats as well as blankets &
sleeping bags for those in need. While you are out shopping, why not pick up a
package of socks and/or underwear to donate.
OPEN SHELTER MEAL is Aug. 31. Cookies & milk needed. Sign up in
the lobby.
LABOR DAY PARADE! Walk or ride, you are welcome to represent Peace in
the parade. Meet at the flag pole on the Lockville Road side of Pickerington High School Central at 9:30 a.m. Let us know on the count-me-in if you or your family
plan to participate in the parade. Individually wrapped candy donations are
needed.
GAL’S BRUNCH: The next brunch is
Saturday, Sept. 11, at 9:30 a.m. Childcare is provided. All women are
invited for food, fellowship and fun!
M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) – Mothers of children, newborn through
pre-k, are invited to the next gathering on Sat., Sept. 11, 9:00-11:30 a.m. Childcare is provided! All
are welcome. Group will meet in Room 14.
BAPTISM for infants, children & adults is available at
the service of your choice on Sunday, Sept. 12 or Nov. 14. Call the office or
mark the insert.
FAITH, HOPE & LOVE IN ACTION: All women are invited to an afternoon of food,
fellowship, spiritual growth, and fun on Sun., Sept. 12, noon to 5:00 p.m. here at Peace. Program will be led by West Ohio Conference Clergy Cean
Wilson. Cost is $10 and includes a light lunch. Stop by the lobby to pick up a
registration form.
LYDIA CIRCLE will meet on Monday, Sept. 13 at the church at 1:00 p.m. to prepare the school supplies for the school bags.
There will be another meeting on Sept. 27, at 1:00 p.m. at which time we will put the school supplies in
the school bags. Anyone who would like to help with this project is
welcome to join us.
SENIOR LIGHT LUNCH is Tues., Sept. 14, at noon. Meet in church back parking lot at 11:30. We will visit Olde Pickerington, starting with Romeo’s
pizza for lunch (former Creamery on Church Street). Menus are at the Connect table in the lobby. Sign
up by Sept. 12. After lunch those who want can go on tour of Olde
Pickerington.
HEAVENLY STITCHERS meet Thursday, Sept. 16, at 10:00 a.m. to make prayer quilts. No
experience is necessary and all are invited.
SENIOR CITIZEN SUNDAY – We honor our seniors on Sunday, Sept. 19, at all three services. Seniors are
invited to brunch in hospitality hall, 9:00-10:45
a.m. Please RSVP on the count-me-in. Also if you would like to help serve
and/or provide a breakfast casserole, mark the insert.
LUNCH BUNCH is going to O'Charley's in Reynoldsburg on Monday, Sept. 20, at noon. RSVP to Barb McKinley or on the insert. All are welcome.
IF YOU HAVE LOST A LOVED ONE in recent months, or years, Pastor Jim invites you to
a remembrance breakfast on Sat., Sept. 18, at 9:30 a.m. at Scrambler Marie’s, 7970 E. Broad St. for a time of food, fellowship & prayer. Mark the
insert. Transportation available if needed.
GOT A 3rd
GRADER? Third
graders will receive their Bibles on Sept. 26 at both the 9:15 &10:45 a.m. services. Call the office or mark the insert if you have a 3rd
grader.
GAL’S AMISH TRIP: Friday, Oct. 22 and/or Sat., Oct. 23. Please call the
office or mark the count-me-in by Sept. 19 for the following options:
Spend the night Fri. (approx. $80) &
shop Sat. OR Shop & lunch Sat. only.
SENIOR DAY TRIP to Mansfield Bible Museum, Oct. 12. RSVP on the insert.
PENCIL SHARPENERS NEEDED for children in need. Bring by Sept. 8. Our goal is 200 bags of school supplies. We are
almost there! We just need 34 sharpeners.

all important event for Peace Church. If the dates
which are being offered for photography do not work for your schedule, please
contact the church office. Several churches in the area are also doing
directories and can offer appointments at their location on other days.
