“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

Our Mission: To empower our teens through compassion and teachings to be mission-minded, Christ-centered, disciple-making servants for God’s Kingdom.

Our Goal: To provide a safe, welcoming place where young people who are seeking or hurting can experience God in amazing ways. We do this by offering fun and exciting weekly events to get students and friends from the community in and offer deeper learning and connecting opportunities during the week for support, care and growth. Every student matters in God’s plans for this world and we strive to enable the next generation of church leaders and Christ followers.

Check out all our ministry offerings below! We are always adding more opportunities to connect students and reach out.

Youth Worship Sunday Mornings at 10:45 AM

Sunday mornings we open up the youth worship room for an awesome time of fellowship, fun, and growth together. Each week we open with fun ice breakers or contests, breakfast foods, worship, and then have a challenging message from Jeff based off topics students face at school and home weekly and picked by our students. The messages are enhanced by movie clips, web content, slideshows, student participation, and current and popular music and media. We work hard to make sure all youth feel welcomed and comfortable so that the Holy Spirit can reach as many young people as possible. Friends and guests always welcomed.

Youth Praise Band

The band plays Sunday mornings during our youth worship and helps lead services through their gifts and talents in lifting up God’s name! If you play an instrument, love to sing, or enjoying running sound systems or graphic design we encourage you to contact Jeff Kincaid and become part of our worship team.

Sunday School Sunday Mornings at 9:15 AM

Come and be part of our open group discussions on topics that YOU bring. We encourage youth to keep their eyes open during the week in the news and at school to anything that peaks their interest and bring it to church that week. We will look at the issues and see where God fits in and what the Bible might teach us about them. Always great conversations and lots of laughs. Open to all youth 7th-12th. Hope to see you there!

Peace Youth Confirmation 2013 Sunday 9:15

Confirmation is an awesome 20 week study of designed to help youth develop a better understanding for how the Methodist Church works while making lasting friendships and getting more comfortable with our youth program. Each week we discuss topics ranging from the basics of what it means to be a Christian, ways to reach out and serve, the history of the Methodist church and John Wesley, our heritage through the years, and how to empower ourselves and others to live a Christian life. Each youth, ages 7th grade and up, is encouraged to ask questions and seek answers while growing in their personal relationship with Christ. We do this through a curriculum called Claim the Name, which is produced by the Methodist church. We also play games, go on retreats, and have all kinds of activities. At the end of the 20 weeks the youth have the option of joining Peace church as a member. Any questions please contact Jeff Kincaid

Youth Missions & Camps

We believe the greatest way to show God’s love to the world is through service to others. Each month our students participate in a service project in either our schools, community, or even outside the state or country on mission trips. These include serving meals at the open shelter, park and neighborhood clean up, care packages fro troops, random acts of kindness, and more. We also head to Camp Otterbein each year for Mission Adventure Camp. All week we work on service projects during the day and have all the fun camps promise in the evenings. Our hope is to develop the heart of a servant in our students.
