We partner with families to support and encourage children as they grow to become followers of Jesus through a variety of activities that are dedicated to excellence and quality.  Your child’s safety and well-being are our primary concern at all times.

Kidstart Mission

The mission for our children’s ministry is to supplement the family in their quest to build a spiritual foundation by teaching biblical truths in relevant ways, empowering and equipping kids to love God completely and love others radically.  We will attempt to disciple them into fully submitted followers of Christ.

Kidstart Reaching Out

Our children learn about REACHING OUT and helping others of all ages by using their hands to make cards, to make scarves, help put together Christmas boxes, wrap gifts for the Angel Tree gifts program (providing gifts for children whose parent or parents are in prison), and a large variety of other outreach  projects!

Kidstart Facts

Creative & Relevant Teachings … are different at each hour so children who attend both will have a new and exciting adventure everywhere they go!  Our regular teachers in all children’s classes are required to have background checks and follow the guidelines of our Peace Safe Sanctuary Policy.  Please sign your middle-schooler in each Sunday.  Plans are being made to have a computerized check-in system sometime this fall or winter.

 

Mid-Week Adventures:

 

N.O.T.T. Nites

For younger kids and their parents!  Three times a year kids spend a Friday or Saturday evening at Peace from 5 to 8 p.m. having lots of fun, fellowship, a devotion, food, games and a movie, while parents go on a Night On The Town!  Go Christmas Shopping, dine out for Valentine’s Day, or work in the yard!  Or just go home and relax, (Nursery through 6th grade) First Friday or Saturday in December Second Friday or Saturday in February Last Friday or Saturday in April  Children are divided into age-level groups TOT SPOT for newborn ~ age 2 Parents, watch the bulletin and sign up!

K.L.I.C.K.

5th & 6th Grade Kids Learning In Christ’s Kingdom A mid-week small group experience especially for our 5th & 6th graders! Kids will K.L.I.C.K. as the share, fellowship and have fun at Peace!  Wednesday evenings, 7 – 8 p.m. beginning September 26th.

CLUB 56

5th & 6th Grade Youth Group  A time of fun, fellowship and growing in faith for our 5th & 6th graders! Meet at least twice during the summer (swimming, bowling, movies, etc.) Meet once a month during the school year for fun, devotions, outreach & food! Parents provide planning, transportation, supervision, etc.

Vacation Bible School

Last week in June  For kids age 3 ½ through “new” 7th graders! Summer 2012 – 360 kids took to the SKY and found out that everything is possible with God!  VBS 2013 – June 24 ~ 29, registration – begins in May
